Rookie, Buck and Dare must escort the asset to the Waterfront Highway so they can drive to the squads captured Phantom. But not all goes to plan after the Covenant start destroying the city…

After his discovery at the entrance to Kikowani Station,, the Rookie is mysteriously lead to a way to the sub levels of the city and is guided through the Covenant infested tunnels until he finds Dare. They both carry out their original mission; to secure the Superintendent’s data. After doing so, they reunite with Buck and head out of the sun levels with their “asset”.
Rookie goes in search of more clues and finds a used BioFoam cannister used to treat Romeo, by the entrance to Kikowani Train Station. With Romeo injured, the squad decide to get out of the city via train. However when they get to the station, they find the station filled with hostiles. Buck plans to now get out by air, so the squad secure a Phantom and Buck escorts them through the station, by Banshee, out of the city.
Dutch and Mickey arrive to pick up Buck and Romeo from the roof top of a New Mombasa high rise, but just as they touch down, their Pelican is hit by Banshee’s and crashes onto the roof of the New Mombasa Police Department. Buck and Romeo must reach them before the Covenant do and watch their own backs at the same time.
Mickey and Dutch are finally re-united, but just after getting out of one fight, they head straight back into another. Marines and Police officers are trying to protect the ONI Alpha Site. Mickey and Dutch must prime charges on the bridge leading inside the base. After doing that, they head inside, but are pushed back to the building itself. Once there they find more charges and find out the whole place will be blown sky high to protect the information stored there. After fight waves of Covenant, they head to the roof for evac.
Rookie goes in search of another clue with flashes us back to Mickey’s story. Shortly after drop Mickey finds a group of marines and proceeds to lead them in a Scorpion tank to a rally point not far away. After rescuing several groups of marines, Mickey runs into Dutch and the two are the first squad members to be reunited. After holding out at the rally point the two moving into ONI Alpha Site, so Mickey can help with some explosives…
After Rookie finds Dares helmet, he goes out in search of more clues. The next one is a UAV Drone camera which causes us to take control of Dutch. Dutch has landed in the Uplift Natural Reserve and with the help of Marines, secure Regrets former landing zone, but before he can the space elevator collapses and Dutch must get out of the reserve ASAP.
The Rookie wakes up in what’s left of New Mombasa and tries to clear the mist of what happened to his squad, after searching for a while he finds something that will shed some light on the subject. 6 hrs earlier Buck lands and races to Dares pod before the Covenant can get hold of Her.
The ODST squad drop from low orbit to the besieged city of New Mombasa with a mission.
